After a long time, I am writing my another blog post. I thought I will pick up the story of crime and investigations but while going through the YouTube, I found many controversies related to Padmavati movie which has become Padmaavat now. While going through it, I just found out that the political team of Rajput has just created unnecessary violence claiming that there was a butchering of the history in Padmavati movie, even without watching the movie. Before touching the controversial stories related to it, I want to show the history of Rani Padmini, known as Padmavati.
HISTORY:
Padmini was a legendary 13th-14th -century Indian queen. Before Alauddin Khilji, could capture Chittoor, Padmavati and her companions committed Jauhar (self-immolation). She and her companions sacrificed life to protect their honor. Rana Pratap Singh was her husband who died in the war of crossfire. Following that, Alauddin Khilji goes to a palace to claim the prize (to get the queen). Unfortunately, Padmavati queen had already sacrificed her life by then. Rani Padmini stood for sacrifice, she has been a mortal sign of sacrifice. She has been a mother figure.
EFFECT ON THE PRESENT SITUATION:
Following this, Sanjay Leela Banshali, Indian director, picturized the movie in the beautiful cinematic form. This movie is all about the glory of Rajput in every scene. The queen in this movie is given so much of an honor. There is no wrong about the movie, but there were claims that this movie has picturized the wrong scene of the historical queen. The ego of Karni Sena has gone too wild due to the release of Padmavati movie. The funny fact is that they haven’t watched the movie and they have created riots and vandalism on the highway and in any part of the states. The ticket counters of many halls were hijacked and the fire was set over the things in the mall. Posters of Padmaavat were set into a fire and was marked a CROSS. The fringes created a blockade on Mumbai –Agra highway and the road were in the fire. Fringes disregard the supreme court who approved this movie as a clear and a negative free movie. But still many states want a ban on this movie.
Even CBFC under cinematograph Act has cleared the film since the authorities have already watched the movie. But in the recent debate of Arnub Goswami, Karan Singh Rathore, the member of Karni Sena, claims that the people who watched the movie with CBFC authorities were maximum the members and the crews of Padmaavat movie. The question was set that" Who will be responsible for this unnecessary action?" by Arnub Goswami and immediately being out of the control, Karan Singh Rathore declares that he will be responsible for the riots and the vandalism being set up due to the movie.
The fact is due to the misconception of the political team, the legal order has been up and down. In the school, small children were performing the Ghoomar song in their annual day function and they were also threatened. What is this?? A NONSENSE act according to my perspective.
I think there is no trust in the government for Karni Sena because even the government cleared this movie, but the riots are still on shouting SUPREME COURT MURDABAAD!!!. There is a democratic way of sorting the problems out related to this movie. It's not necessary to create the vandalism. There are excessive rape cases and domestic violence cases in Haryana which should be handled but the way, where the controversy can be attentive, political members have decided to keep their hands on. They should watch the movie and debate instead of doing the unnecessary violence without any root reasons.
Is the controversy required for this?? This movie has picturized the creativity telling the story of the history and I don’t think that this movie deserves the unnecessary blockade. What do you think about it?
